Hi! I am Daniel, a certified dog trainer and certified dog behaviorist that has been working with dogs for a long time, 15 years in fact. I am the founder and owner of MuttHaviorist Dog Training & Canine Rehabilitation. I have more than 14,000 hours of experience working with and training dogs dealing with any issue under the sun. I have done this while working in shelters, vet hospitals and everything in between, including in home training which I do now. I am certified as a professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) and canine behaviorist (CBCC-KA) from the gold standard in the dog training industry the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers.
Why I Started Blogging as a Professional Dog Trainer & Certified Canine Behaviorist
The reason I started this blog is because I want to be able to supply dog lovers with information that could be helpful in their everyday lives. Clearly dog training and behavior rehabilitation are processes that take some time and vary differently depending on the situation. By having a blog, I am able to supply information that people may not know but could hopefully help them.
Why I do. What I do. With dogs.
I sincerely believe dogs are a blessing in this world and can do so much for people. That is why I have dedicated my life to them as they need help sometimes too. Which puts me in the fortunate and unique position where my knowledge base is extremely deep through studying and working with dogs which allows me to help so many pups and their families. I can only hope that the information I provide in future blog posts is something that brings more understanding and insights to anyone that reads so that they can provide the best lives for their dogs. And create a lasting and healthy relationship.
